11/15/09 - "Where It All Started" and "The Bejeezus" - NEW in SFC Shorts

  Man, 2009 has been The Year of The Suffering...
  Fancy rats, Bandit and Bunny, both died. Meow (yes, a lame name for a cat, but it stuck) passed away just tonight. PONI IS IN LIVING HELL RIGHT NOW. Myself, had vicious styes on both eyes for most of the summer. Dealt with an aggravating Chevy Monte Carlo - sagging doors, busted latches, water pump shot, ran like shit in the rain. Racked up credit cards fixing up a 1990 Olds Ciera - shaking and wondering if I was going to go broke and not make the mortgage - then newer car needs new starter...UGH. I was a mess, and hell, I still am...just coping better. Perfection or reason has NEVER entered my life...so ACCEPT IT.
  I have since learned to love the Ciera, though. Comfortable and clean. 3.3L V6 - so, VRRRM - WHOO! ...Came complete with Yankees bumper sticker...HA HA, Phiilies fans! Thinking of re-naming her the Millenium Falcon since she still starts like nineteen times out of twenty, and then you have to jump on the gas pedal to get her to jump to hyper-space. Never heard of anyone having to do that with a fuel-injected car. Still can't figure that one out. Anyone got an R2D2 for sale? So, whooptie-shit and how-do-you-do...she still does the Kessel Run in less than two parsecs.
